The Reloaded Cardiff is a minor re-imagining of the only commercially available ‘bullnose’ aquarium in North America which is now fitted with flush LED lighting. Unfortunately, the original Cardiff was equipped with ginormous metal globe of a pendant that looked equal parts hair dryer and bomb. We remember seeing our first Cardiff aquarium being set up at the LFS several years ago. There was a look of wonder and beauty when the Cardiff aquarium was first put onto it’s bullnose stand, immediately followed by a look of confusion when the hair-dryer-lookin metal halide pendant was brought out. The new Reloaded Cardiff is not much different from the first edition, except that the LED lighting choice no longercompletelydetracts from the aesthetic of having a bullnose tank.
