When writing this article I really had no clue that Great White Sharks can be less than 45 feet. You see, the Monterey bay Aquarium just acquired a 4 foot Great White Shark. Which if you’ve seen Jaws, that’s just a baby! She is just 55 pounds and comes in just over 4 feet. The shark, nameddeath, will stay at the aquarium for a period of months before being released back into the ocean so she cankilllive in wild. All kidding aside, the aquarium has been doing this for several years as part of theirongoing White Shark Research Project. You can see the shark on exhibit now.
