The only downside is that the new port to the old mogul base form factor will cost you about a $30 premium! the DE Phoenix 14k typically runs about $60 and $70 for 150 and 250W respectively whereas the SE Phoenix 14k is selling for $89 and $99, before shipping. That’s steep if you ask us but since this lamp is widely used we don’t think that the bulbs will have any trouble selling.
