The popularsilence pumpwhich we spied early has been placed as the main powerplant for the Nano DOC protein skimmer. Doing this gives increased efficiency to the popular skimmer while giving a slight bump to a quieter package. The old pump was 0800.040, while the new pump is 1073.008. These have been shipping and most retailers should have the new pumps in stock by now, but you can always check before you pull the plug.
