Ecoreef One is a novel concept nano reef aquarium which features a high proportion of energy saving equipment and methodology. We’ve been using Ecoreef One as a testbed for many new ideas and products over the last year and now that the aquarium is showing some strong, vigorous signs of success, it’s time for EcoReef One to shine.
On this Earth Day we are proud to share with you thefull write up of Ecoreef Onein Advanced Aquarist and how this five gallon reef aquarium runs beautifully on just 500 watt-hrs per day, or about $0.05 of electricity. This concept reef aquarium has been a marvel of breaking the rules of reefing while still keeping LPS corals looking good and growing at a decent pace.
It is our hope that reefers will be able to identify some of the tricks of Ecoreef One which may apply to their reef tanks, so that we can all reel in the environmental footprint of our home reef aquariums.
