The Planctonite Reacter V2 is the secong generation calcium reactor from the popular European manufacturer of acrylic products. The Reacter V2 is designed with simplicity in mind with most fittings and plumbing being streamlined to inside the reaction chamber. The Reacter V2 holds just under a gallon of media, 4.25 liters and it is rated for 2000 liter/500 gallon aquariums but as with all reactors, the rating ultimately depends on the mineral demands of the reef tank.
Perhaps the neatest part of the Planctonite Reacter V2 is the connection bus on the front of the device, with inflow, outflow and CO2 ports being clearly labeled next to their respective quick disconnect fittings. The AquaBee 2000 water pump comes pre-plumbed with connections to the bus of hose ports and it can be easily configured for use inside or outside the sump.
