While most angelfish reserve their reverence for the Hawaiian masked angelfish,Genicanthus personatus, when it comes to swallowtail angelfish we hold the spotted angelfish,Genicanthus takeuchii, closest to our reefing hearts. You can imagine our excitement when we discovered not one but two high quality videos of the spotted angelfish in its natural environment, one showing a full close up of a large adult male spotted angelfish and the other is a steady shot of a juvenileGenicanthus takeuchiidarting around a field of rubble in Ogasawara.
