Reverse osmosis (RO) filtration systems are one of the best investments any hobbyist can make and the newAquatic LifeRO Buddie is a compact, three-stage RO system designed to fit in tight spaces and tight budgets. Instead of using the typical plastic housing for carbon and sediment filters,Aquatic Lifeuses the smaller, sealed filters similar to in-line filters for refrigerators.
The RO Buddie is available in 50 and 100 gallon per day (GPD) models and contain a sediment and carbon filter along with the RO membrane. The three-stage RO Buddie is also pretty compact and can easily be installed under a sink or other tight space where a larger RO system is impractical.
The Aquatic Life RO Buddie comes complete with mounting brackets, cartridges, faucet adapter, membrane and membrane wrench. All you need to hook it up is 1/4 in. tubing to connect to water supply, filtered water and waste water connections. Initial pricing wasn’t mentioned in press materials.
