Build My LEDMC Series is showing the company is getting even more innovative by bringing multi-channel control to its custom LEDs. The new MC Series is being debuted in a small, beta product launch before the final launch later this fall.
Coming in two flavors, theMC Series 6300K Dutch Planted Spectrumand theMC Series 20,000K Reef Spectrum. Built off the XB design, the MC Series give you three channels of control to allow you to customize a robust dawn-to-dusk cycle.
Although these lights now have separate channels, you will still need an external controller like the BML SoLunar Controller or another aquarium controller with LED dimming capabilities.
If you are willing to work as a beta product tester, they are offering the MC Series at the same cost of the XB Series. Once the beta test period is over and the light is in full-production mode, the MC Series will cost around 20% higher than the XB Series. There are only a few products available under beta before they pull it from the website.
Coming in lengths from 12 in. all the way up to 72 in., the BML MC Series will most likely range in price from about $170 for the 12 in. version all the way up to around $580 for the 72 in. version and will be available later this year.
