The CAD LightsPipeless skimmeris one of the more unique and unusual protein skimmer designs to surface in quite some time. Although we’ve known about thePipelessfor some a little while it’s only now that we have uncoveredhowthe new skimming creation from CAD Lights performs this feat. Before even seeing it we mostly assumed that there was some kind of clever obstruction of the holes for the outlets somehow built into the base of the skimmer with the skinniest footprint ever offered. Thankfully at Reefapalooza we made the CAD Lights booth one of our first stops so we could see thePipelessin action and be impressed at how it disassembled and came back together in about ten seconds without even having to touch the feed pump.
